Details on Whyteleafe FC - August

The 2009/10 season started with an away game at Sittingbourne on Saturday 15 August 2009. The ‘Leafe played well with all the new signings working together and looking by far the better team in the first half. Having conceded a goal in the 47th minute they came back to draw level 10 minutes later. Unfortunately ‘Leafe conceded a penalty in the last 10 minutes and were unable to come back against a very though defence and so are looking forward to Tuesday’s game to get their first points of the season.
