I know in Cuthbert Court we had a partition a while ago about the hygiene of the hallways and surrounding areas. What are everyone else’s views on this? Do you think it has improved at all?

Re: Cleaning Of Halls
I have to say that recently it seems alot better in Barton Court although when it rains the ground floor turns into a samll lake and if it doesn't clear up straight away it starts to smell a bit.
But outside is still not good with loads of fag butts and not to mention dogs mess!

I hoover outside the four flats on my side and wash the door every couple of weeks, I have to do it to my standard as I'm sure I am quite OCD ish!!!

Re: Cleaning Of Halls
The corridors in Barton are foul too- its bad enough having the floods on gound floor and stairs everytime it rains!! My boyfriend thinks we should all have a petition saying we will not pay service charge until we get a better service. I agree in a way but think they have us over a barrel really.
There has been a light out on the stairs for over 8 months and the smashed/damaged cement at the entrance door- just looks shoddy.

Please can you mark which light is out and Gilbert is coming to replace it on Monday, as the lights are on a timer Gilbert can't see in the day time which ones have blown. If you can put a piece of string round it or sellotape with a note then it can be replaced.
If anyone else has noticed lights out please do the same and let me know, I can then tell Gilbert and get it sorted.
Thank you xxx

Re: Cleaning Of Halls
Saxon is a mess at the moment and someone has failed to clean up the mess after a bin bag split leaving a trail of grossness.
