Having soundly beaten local rivals Chipstead 4 - 1 away the 'Leafe went on to progress in the FA Trophy putting 3 past Leighton Town in another away fixture. In the following mid-week they also beat Metropolitan Police 3-2 after extra time in the Surrey Senior Cup.
Having lost a couple of League games the 'Leafe supporters travelled to Whitstable Town with high hopes of a win in this mid-week fixture. Unfortunately it was very disappointing to concede a 93rd minute penalty and so only drew followed by a long trek back in the late evening.
But onwards and upwards to the FA Trophy when 'Leafe played Ryman Premier Team AFC Hornchurch at Church Road. 'Leafe at least matched "the Urchins" and should have won the game, but unfortunately only a draw could be achieved as having been 1 - 0 up for most of the match, 'Leafe were reduced to 10 men, and, conceded soon after, but managed to hold on to gain a replay at Hornchurch.
