    Venetian blinds- Empty Venetian blinds-

    Post  Little_1 Tue 27 May 2008, 4:02 am

I want to put up venetian blinds on the kitchen window and also the balcony door. I have looked at ikea web site and there is a blind that is 60cm width so i could use 2 for the balcony door. I thought this will enable me to still open the door for the summer etc.

Those of you who have put blinds up, have you attached the fitting to the ceiling (to allow more room for the door to open) or in the recess?
I have curtains up already but i like the look of wooden venetain blinds as i feel i live in a goldfish bowl at times! I dont think i can have a second curatin pole for a voile curtain but i like the flexibility of the blind.

    Any help or tips appreciated.

    Hi ya,

I got my blinds from Ikea, i have attached them to the balcony doors themselves, so i can open the doors and still have the blinds attached.

    Hope that helps.
