I really hate the floor in the kitchen and bathroom any suggestions to what might be a good replacement?? App laminate would be no good for the bathroom as there is no window and the floor would not take well to it.

We have been thinking the same thing, my finacee hates the floor in the kitchen and bathroom. I don't think it is to bad as it is a light grey colour, some we looked at were black and all sorts of odd colours.

Just need to make our mind up what to go for scratch

    Hiya only me again!!!
When I moved into my flat it had a horrible green floor in the bathroom and kitchen which stained white and yucky!! I asked for it to be changed and i've had it changed to a nice beige colour.
    Hope that helps

It's the same as the floor in my kitchen at work so it's 'cheapo Government Department floor' too.

I finally got rid of the NASTY green vinyl in my bathroom and tiled the floor.

I got black/grey slate effect tiles from Tops Tiles and did it myself on saturday. (sorry if i was a bit loud!)

All the tiles, adhesive and grout came to about £120 in total and it only took a few hours.

As the floor underneath is concrete you can tile straight onto it and i am very chuffed with the result. I also cant put pics up but anyone is more than welcome to have a look.
