Has anyone replaced the rad in the bathroom for a heated towel rail. Any ideas how easy it is to do this? Question

its relatively straight forward... although I would recommend using the plastic fixings rather than metal as they are easier to adjust. Other than that turn off the water supply ... drain the system... and away you go. Should take no more than a couple of hours to complete.

Anyone got any ideas of the exact sizes to literally bolt on and off, as I am looking to buy one at the weekend?

Should be getting mine fitted on Sat Joe so pop over and have a look.

The one I have ordered is 1500 x 600mm and I think is the same size as Dans.....

Have those of you that were replacing their rad in bathroom for a heated towel rail actually done it yet ? Altough i've talked about it i still havn't done it. Were the dimensions mentioned before he correct size etc just slot on, and what additional tools ,bolts etc are needed? Does anyone know anybody at what cost that would be able to do the job for me, as although Dan's instructions on how to do it are very clear, knowing my luck if i attempted it,i would flood the whole of Cuthbert !!!!!! lol!

I have one but it's not the right size so will need some extra piping. I am getting my mums mate to fit it for me at some stage so once I have a price I will let you know Caroline. Will be in the next few weeks or so Laughing
